Baron Botham, of Ravensworth in the county of North Yorkshire takes his seat in the House of Lords.

Well done Beefy. There is no more proud and patriotic an Englishman than him.

Nah, best series will always be the 2005 Ashes.

That doesn't even take second tbh

India v Australia in 2001 was previously the best.

I agree that it’s the best at the moment but it can’t always be the best

Listening to talksport atm.

Gough, as English as they come says this series was the best one ever.

All about opinions of course.

But let's face it, take the edgbaston test out of 05 and the other 4 were bog standard boring tests that no one remembers.

This series will be remembered for every test

Sensational stuff

Best est side atm is New Zealand they top the rankings.
Latest test series with Aussie and india was a travesty, what the aussie bowlers got away with was worse than jardines body line.

The England team are finding it incredibly difficult to cope with India's spin game on those pitches.

India are probably the best in the world at that at home. Everyone would find it hard. They are very, very good at it.
