Absolute thriller of an ending. This is what sports is about!!

Its a shame how NZ went about losing it, but there always has to be a winner and Im glad it was us.

49.4 overs: England 239-8 (need 3 from 2 balls to win) No way! No way! Stokes has got another six in amazing circumstances. He slid to make a second, and the throw hit his bat and went for four more! Astonishing! I have never seen anything like that in all my life. Stokes put his hands up to apologise straight away, but it’s six.

Wish I knew what any of that meant.

Vava letting down his English ancestors smh

I know an over is 6 pitches (er...bowls?). Hitting the ball out of the boundary completely in the air is 6 points, hitting it and having it roll out is 4, and normal runs are 1. 10 outs (wickets?) or the specified number of overs is the end of an inning, whichever comes first. At least that's what I got when one of my friends had me watch some of an IPL game.

Normal cricket is too damn long though. T20 is the much better format from the little I've seen of it.

Best cricket match I have ever seen fair play to England the Kiwi got them over the line, spare a thought for Stokes dad who was torn between his kiwi NZ born son and supporting his own home country what a man and what a family really humbling what he had to say over here afterwards.
