I was at Trent Bridge yesterday for Stuey Broad's hattrick. Atmosphere was electric.

My mates stayed on for today's play. I had a lengthy phone call with them at tea, trying to explain what was going on.

Bit of a shame that the decision to rescind the dismissal wasn't announced before the umpires/players came back on - the reception wasn't deserved. It was clearly technically the right decision to give him out, but morally the right decision to recall him.

For those who are wondering whether England would do the same, it's a bit hit and miss. Collingwood got into a bit of trouble when he ran out a Kiwi a few years ago. However, Strauss called back Angelo Matthews in an ODI in 2009 for a similar thing to Collingwood's and allowed him to continue after he'd been given out, so hopefully we would.

At the end of the day, whatever the result (and I don't think it will end up making much difference to the final result), Dhoni and the team showed immense class in the way they eventually handled it.

He's from pretty much the next street to me. Got a huge 90 runs as well. Shame he didn't get his 100.

Tendulkar gone, and with him any hope India had of saving the match.

I actually want Tendulkar get his 100th hundred at some point in this series. Thought he might do it today :(

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him do it too, it's quite a rarity in cricket, and if anyone deserves it, he does... But let's secure the series first!
