The battle to be No1 Test nation begins tomorrow at Lords with a couple of landmarks set to be completed.

The 2000th test match
Tendulkar will be hoping to complete his 100th test century

Good tonnage for Dravid - Would have been nice to have seen Tendulkar hit one at Lords to round off his career, but there's always the second innings.

Dominant lead for England, though I'm a bit disappointed with them missing out the follow-on.

I know what you mean, I always worry about England declaring too early in these situations. The follow on would have been ideal.

My view of it yesterday was to try get a couple of wickets before the end of play and I agreed with the move. although now it didn't pay off it turns out the wrong decision, ha.

Looks like a nice lead though so should be fine. Not seen any today cos of work and am working tomorrow so won't see that either.

Sharma is having a devastating spell right now. He's got 2 in one over.

Prior and Broad steadying the ship now a little. If England can have another 100/120 and make India bat for a whole day i recon we will win, but it is fairly even atm.

Prior gets his century in style.

Great innings from Broad as well.
Can't believe we were 65-5 and turned it round to 269-6.

Certainly seems like England have an ability to dig themselves out of the shit these days.

Granted, we still have days where we play utter shit - but what sporting side doesn't?

It's an improbable target given the time, but I still think perhaps they should have held the declaration again.

Could do with a couple tonight though.

Is Tendulkar actually going to bat? Last I heard was a stomach bug (or some such)

Quite an interesting match we have upon us. So many twists and turns already.

If Tendulkar is fit and The Wall plays another obdurate innings don't discount a draw.
