I would assume that the ECB had no interest in England winning this World Cup?

That's the only logical conclusion seeing as they only arrived back from Australia yesterday and are flying out for the World Cup on Saturday.

Im picking Sri Lanka and India. the rest wont handle the subcontinent conditions.be good to see good crowds back at cricket, the game is on a downward slide here along with our Black Caps.did very much enjoy watching the Ashes.

Anything more about the fire safety yet at the Wankhede Stadium?

Didn't it fail a safety inspection yesterday? Or am I thinking of a different stadium?

I'm quite surprised the spinners didn't make a big impact on the pitches - afterall it is 'sub continent pitches' where spinners tend to take more wickets then seamers, it must have been because of the dew factor on the field - so that could be one of the reasons why the ball didn't turn much.

Sehwag had a excellent game - scored his highest individual score and nearly broke Tendulkar's ODI record, what a start for India, the atmosphere was brilliant, just brilliant.

Good win in the end. Good to chase that score down.

Didn't expect the result to be that close against the Dutch!

NZ have a bit of hard work ahead of them. 7/121 at the moment.

At least they are posting an competitive now. 8/188.

All out for 206. Not a bad score.
