Worst thing for the Aussies is not just losing the tests but the margin they are losing them by!

The back pages of Aussie papers make fine reading...

Hoping for a nice early finish tonight so I can watch the celebrations and so on and still get to bed at a better time than usual lately!

Well I've been talked into going clubbing tonight ( I know it's a school night ) but lll probably be home for 2/3ish so if they could hold out until then that'll be good :)

As I was saying earlier as well. The 3 we won will all be by an innings (presuming it goes to how people expect today).

Yep, and let me return to a normal nights sleep again

I've updated my FB status in recognition of the humiliation that's about to happen tonight.... Three innings wins down under, and the 24 years I've had to wait since the last time they were silent.

It's just nice to see Ricky Ponting's nose (or should that be finger) put out of joint!

Alastair Cook - Man of the series with Jimmy Anderson closely behind.

Same here, I didn't think we'd have too much of a chance but we've just been terrible.

Of all the things I never thought I would see in sport it would be a 3-1 ashes victory in Oz with all 3 wins being by an innings+.

I am so proud of the lads and of the team they have become. Most of the praise is going on our attack which is well deserved but I am also chuffed that we know how to bat, properly know how to bat with the best of them. In the past even when we have been winning our batting has always had that sense of "at any moment......" but we seem to have got some batting backbone and I really trust these guys to bat through the hard times.

Prior was my man of the series. I know Cook should, like he did, but I don't think he's had the credit he deserves.

At the same time, they all deserve it. Was a wonderful team performance.
