England Vs Pakistan

Interesting this one!

England were commanding yesterday, only to lose the last six wickets this morning for only 17 runs in 51 balls.

Then the reply, reducing Pakistan to 108/8 as I type.

Good stuff.

And again, whooping their arses! 72 all out, and that's electing to bat first after winning the toss.

Beats the previous low score set only on the last test......

Note, Australia only managed a draw with them earlier in the season.....

Based on the last year, would it be fair to say we are currently the best cricket nation in the world? Our form and results against quality opposition has been amazing.

Their always bringing the game into disrepute, they had that ball tampering allegation last summer. The Pakistan team is a disgrace. Half of their country is getting washed back to the stone-age and there trying to make a quick buck. Absolute disgrace...

Its the eastern culture, the people at the top don't give a f**k about the people at the bottom. Yes i know your all going to say that happens in the western culture which it does but IMHO its not as prevalent... :hiding:

I think it would probably be best to wait until the investigation is finished, and all the circumstances come to light, before labelling the entire outfit as a disgrace.

The less said about your other comment, the better.

Well, it's nothing short of a disgrace should the findings be proven to be true, and I'm afraid that Pakistan could well find themselves removed as a first class test Nation.

I really don't know what happened there, because they used to provide us some serious opposition at one time of day, this series they seem to have rolled over and died on at least four occasions. 72, 74, 80 and the 147 follow on may or may not to be to do with the weather and our bowlers being more acclimatised to it, but it certainly rings alarm bells! I can't remember a tour where scores were so low on so many occasions.

They're blatantly guilty. Not the first time they've messed around in matches for a bribe or two.

It's an absolute disgrace, supporters and cricket fans have been cheated/ripped off. SSN have just been showing footage from the Australia v Pakistan test in January and it's blatantly obvious that Pakistan chucked it.

There is so much in this series against Pakistan that simply reeks of fixing, ludicrously low scores, woeful catching, dreadful wicket keeping. If that Pakistan keeper isn't guilty of fixing then I'm Andrew Strauss. SSN showed him failing to run out Shane Watson, it was an obvious fix.
