Broke the 800 test wickets barrier earlier

Hell of an achievement, especially when you consider Beefy is ours in England at 373.

Plenty of people, myself included, believe that he throws/chucks the ball. The only reason that he wasn't banned is that the Asian lobby in the ICC has been too strong for that to happen.

For whatever the controversies of his action he was still a fine, fine cricketer.

Hmmmm.... His action was debatable over the years, but although I leg spin, I can't find a way of spinning the ball through my fingers and chucking it at the same time.

Jury out for me.

Probably, but there's no way I'm attempting his full name!
