I don't watch or like cricket but anytime England win a World trophy it's nice!

Let's hope the football team can follow in their footsteps!

Never in all my days did I think I would see England win a 20/20 competition.

All I can say is well done lads, you are the heroes of 2010.

Won two of the last 3 mate :rofll:

we may view it as the carling cup of cricket but in 20 years garunteed it'll be viewed as the holy grail outside of the ashes. the 50 over world cup won't be the premier limited overs comp for much longer, T20 is taking over and in 20 years it'll be the most popular form of cricket.

If they want it to be the premier one-day tournament then it will need to change and be far more comprehensive than it is now. At the moment it's just a meaningless group stage followed by an instant knockout stage. If it really is going to be the number one tournament it needs to have a lot more substance than that.

no it's not, there's two group stages then the knock out.
England played 7 matches, that's more than enough for any world tornament.
