knott was apparently the greatest keeper ever, and a decent bat for the time where keepers weren't generally batsman as they are now.
stewart is the other obvious one, a top class batsman who turned into a good keeper.
depends on the make up of the team imo, if we had 6 batters and 4 pure tail end bowlers i'd take stewart to bolster batting. if we had top notch allrounders among the 4 bowlers then i'd take knott and bat him at 8.
