Loving how they are focusing more on the BBQ than the cricket!

Having said that, those sausages do look good!

150/6 off 32

Good fightback by England.

Wonder if the powerplay will come in? Last five overs maybe?

Is there still a power play left?

Agree about the fightback, though I'm not entirely sure even 250 will be enough

Powerplay just started on the 45th over. Swan ran out on the first ball of it. Bresnan has now been bowled - good slog of 80.

257 all out off 47.4

Ponting doesn't look too happy, but as stated, I really don't think that's a high enough run chase for them to worry about. A touch over 5 an over.

Australia need 258 to win, it certainly won't be easy but it is a fairly good track. My fingers are crossed, come on Ricky

They have just shown some awards on screen.

2 questions;

1] How the hell did Mitchell Johnson get cricketer of the year

2] How the hell did Aleem Dar get umpire of the year

Meanwhile, an invasion of bugs has stopped play

Moths stop play, well, they are saying that it's moths, they look a bit like locusts. If play isn't possible then Australia will go through because they topped their group, quite right too. :rofll:

Mitchell Johnson was very impressive out in South Africa and before that. He was wayward in the opening tests over here but he came back well in the 4th and 5th test. Before he came over here he had never bowled with the Duke ball which is used over here.

As for Aleem Dar, I can't say. If the Ashes tests were anything to go by then it has been an appalling year for umpiring and they should have withheld the umpires award.

Still some ants around but play begins.

Single off the first over, now if we can keep that up for the next 49 overs we're all set.

1.3 overs - WICKET - Paine c Davies b Onions 4 - Aus 6-1
Fresh from scoring his first (and so far only) ODI run, Graham Onions takes the second over. Watson turns a single to fine leg, which is where they're hiding Owais Shah at the moment. Onions drops it short and Paine whacks him for four through mid-wicket. But then England "end the Paine" as he gets a thin edge to his opposite number Steve Davies, who snaffles his first ODI catch!

Australia win by nine wickets with eight overs to spare. Awesome batting from Ponting and Watson. It's New Zealand or Pakistan next, I think New Zealand can beat Pakistan. Well played Ricky. :)
