Australia win by nine wickets with eight overs to spare. Awesome batting from Ponting and Watson. It's New Zealand or Pakistan next, I think New Zealand can beat Pakistan. Well played Ricky. :)

A rather crushing victory in the end.

I still can't get over the bee invasion during England's innings, and all those flies (or whatever they were) as Australia came out.

I wouldn't like to pick a winner between NZ and Pakistan, but either makes for a tasty final.

I seem to recall an Australian win........

And NZ vs Australia would be a classic final.

I think that Australia v New Zealand would be an excellent final, an all Antipodean encounter in a major final, much more interesting than being up against Pakistan.

Australia have won the Champions Trophy, they beat New Zealand by 6 wickets in the final. $2,000,000 prize money and a golden bat to Ricky Ponting.
