I know an over is 6 pitches (er...bowls?). Hitting the ball out of the boundary completely in the air is 6 points, hitting it and having it roll out is 4, and normal runs are 1. 10 outs (wickets?) or the specified number of overs is the end of an inning, whichever comes first. At least that's what I got when one of my friends had me watch some of an IPL game.

Normal cricket is too damn long though. T20 is the much better format from the little I've seen of it.

the 50 overs/10 outs seems about right to me... but I am a yank.

getting the critical six on a defecltion off the bat is a one in a million horseshoe up the arse... w/o it they lose

I don't have any English ancestors tbf

My dad is British by way of emigration, he's from the Caribbean.

Though I suppose I am letting down my West Indian ancestors.

The Irish muck up their Lord's debut.

Someone needs to tell them that you shouldn't go in to bat drunk by the way some of them were swinging. :D

The worst part of this test is that Root probably won't drop Denly because of that runout when he's absolutely atrocious

England get destroyed in the ashes first test.

More importantly we won the one that matters. The World Cup final was the greatest finish ever seen in sport.

Beaten by some of the worst umpiring in the history of cricket, not by the convicts.
