Sometimes when I render and after I select 'From Path' it comes up with this weird selection line that cuts across the supposedly areas being rendered, and if I clear the pixels it screws up and it clears across the lines and into the figure I'm trying to render......

Sorry about the vague description but is there any way to fix this??

Yeah I found what screwed it up

Yeah the free form pen tool, for some reason (must be a glitch) some parts don't join up correctly and make the criss cross lines

Not getting it anymore once I found out what it was

Cool, glad you sorted it. ;)

TBH i find it easier to use the magnetic lasoo rather than freeform.
Although the main pen tool is better for smoother lines.

I don't think there's that option in GIMP, will search for it though
