This is one of my tutorials in English. If there is anything you don't understand, please send me a message or ask it in this topic. This tutorial is kinda long and has a lot of different textures in it so it might take a while to complete it.

Edit: This tutorial was made for Photoshop CS2
Some tips:

- If your render is too big and you want to make it smaller, press ctrl+t and drag the corners of the renders while holding shift. Holding shift will make sure that your render still has the same proportions.

- If you don't like the way a texture looks in your sig, feel free to skip a step or use another texture. Tutorials are something that will help you make a sig and teach you new techniques, you don't have to copy the model sig exactly

- Erase parts that don't look nice.

Yea that is good, I downloaded one of those free sig maker thingys, but just never got around to it, so I may have to do it sometime.

I attempted to run through it, but the programme I use doesn't have the option to do some of the stuff you've said to do (or at least I don't think it does...).

The tut was made for Adobe Photoshop CS2 and I think you can follow the tut in Adobe Photoshop CS3 too. Too bad you can't do the tut

Ill actually give this a go later on & post my result back in here, some really nice effects & reading through looks an easy tut to follow.

BTW im also on playerart, i found you on there, im using the same username there as here.

Its not a good tut its an excellent tutorial. :clap:

After following it myself, Here is my outcome:

I added a few extras and applied the image 3x at the end, with screen opacity 18% /desat opacity at 30% then finally a warming photo filter at 60%, erasing the bits i didnt like on each apply image layer, I also added a 1pxl gaussian blur to the reflected text, hindsight says i should have erased more on the 1st set of textures earlier on at the start in part 1. :hiding:

At the very end before adding the 2 stroke layers i filled a layer in black set it to 55% normal & erased the central area.
Overall happy with the outcome.

The only error i found was on part 3, (im already very familiar with this style of text reflection) in CS2 its EDIT/transform/flip vertical rather than Image as stated in tut, one thing i would add to the tutorial is on part 3 again you need to mention that the 3rd duplicate layers on the christian & surname for the reflection need to be nudged down, i know that sounds like common sense but when you have people who are just starting out with photoshop - well u know what i mean.

Thanks again Saskia, really enjoyed this tut & it was very easy to follow & well explained.
Look forward to having a bash at any more tutorials you may have drawn up.

Sorry for my newbness..... But how do i add texture 1? It seems to be an image, not a brush or anything.

You just drag the image (in this case texture 1) onto your workspace, using the move tool.

Good attempt, much better than my early stuff, Keep it up hun, patience is the key.

Your sig might look better with a smaller render.
