You are both right. In the words of SE13 "It was just called the European Fairs Cup in those days, which would be the correct answer, but people older than me would call it the "Inter-City Fairs Cup" ...

Thanks Trina, I had it wrong at first. For 68 I was thinking of the FA Cup not the League Cup then I wasn't sure of the year in the 40s when we won the League.
