Founded in 1886, Dial Square were to become the Arsenal we know today. They were to renamed Royal Arsenal shortly after being founded, and went on to be called Woolwich Arsenal, dropping the Woolwich bit after their move to Highbury in 1913. In honour of having such a club outside a tube station, London Underground agreed to a proposal from Herbert Chapman to rename Highbury Hill station "Arsenal" as it is now known.
