That's how i was feeling a week ago.
But the closer the fight has got and the more i've thought about how De la Hoya has been a part time fighter for the last few years and seeing how big Pacquiao is looking.......

I can see De la Hoya struggling to keep with pace that Pacquiao sets.

And there was me going by your old idiom of a good big un will always beat a good little un. ;)
I was gonna use that philosophy to stick a tenner on Golden Boy. Now i'm not so sure...

I had £50 on Pacquiao at 15/8. :arse fan:

So it's a case of do as i do, not as i say.
So how much did you win?

Just watched the fight again. It was actually quite sad to see a legend losing like that. He had nothing to give. His legs were heavy all fight. He hardly threw a shot. Looked devoid of ideas.
LRL, they're suggesting he messed up his weight. He shed alot of weight and then tried to rehydrate just before the fight. Do you agree?

hey niks!

do you think the dropping down in weight affected Oscar's ability to compete? usually he gives as good as he gets.

It's always easier to put weight on, than take it off.

As i said yesterday, you can't ignore the fact that De la Hoya has been a part time boxer since 2004.

Do you think he'll continue at middleweight and fight someone like Pavlik? S'pose Pav isn't a big enough draw though, financially speaking.

BIG SHAME IT WENT THE WAY IT DID AND WE ALL TALKING ABOUT IT AND NOT WHAT A GREAT FIGHT IHT WAS....

oscar cant use the weight on the loss for this fight, he had time, he new the score!!!

when i was in the euros, i was at super/h... 100kg but i was entered at light/h 81kg... ( by mistake ) i had 14 days to shed 2.1/2 stone... it takes so much out of you its crazy!!!!! for a show down like this ( pac and oscar ) 2 or 3 pound is so much...

p.s

i still won gold. :rofll:
you mess and you get the knocked the f**k out baby!!!!!!

Not trying to detract from Pacman's achievement. Love the guy but, I wish Oscar put up a better showing. Not saying he would've definitely won. But he's much better than that. Surely...?
