This is never happening in a month of Sundays, excellent forward though, who is skillful and can finish from in or outside the box.

Sweden forward Alexander Isak, 25, has put clubs including Arsenal on alert as he continues to stall on signing a new contract at Newcastle. (talkSPORT)

Get him in. Keep him fit

Yup, he should definitely be in the top 2 of options for CF for us.

Isak or Gyo. Either have risks. Isak is PL proven but injury record a concern. Gyo not PL proven.

Thought Isak was very good last year.
He's not started this year too well, just the 1 goal in his first 5 games and then injured again.
I do think his style, tight control and the ability to beat players and create openings would work well in our system, though.
The only challenge would be game time - would there be space for him to play regularly?

Both better than what we have

Injuries I fear will stop isak being as good as he can be

With our strike force on course to bust through 80 goals in the season again, having done it comfortably for the last 2 seasons, I still don't think we have a great need here.
Newcastle would love to have a strike force as good as ours.
A midfield replacement for Partey seems to be more of the need.

Eh? Why? Assuming Odegaard and Rice are available then we already have Merino, Partey and Jorginho as the third midfielder.

Neither Partey or Jorginho are here longer term or even medium term, they are older .
Both of them going will also free up a significant amount of wages.

But they are still here. Havertz back up is more urgent.

A CF in Jan has to be the priority, it simply has to be.

For what reason?
We're not struggling for goals
