Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Can't really see it putting it out here, just in case things do become more concrete -

Man's never made a profit in his life, despite paying artists pennies.

Really hope we can do better than the CEO version of Arteta.

I'd prefer if he was talking about his management ideas as opposed to 'I am a fan, please sell to me'.
Out of the frying pan into the fire I suspect.

But, still seems like all PR.

Having said that I am sure for the right price the Kroenke's would sell. The right price being significantly above what the club is currently worth.

As Martin Samuel says
If he is interested in buying
He needs to talk to Stan kronke
Not Twitter followers

Its not going to happen unless Kroenke is willing.

From what I'm seeing and for the fact he was a whisker away from the Super league and all those billions, I doubt he's selling.

It took him years to acquire 100% ownership, getting a brand or "franchise" as he sees it in your full possession is not easy, I can't see him giving that up until the brand is ruined.

Was Abramovich on major news networks talking about acquiring Chelsea? Was Stan? Were the Saudis when they tried to buy Newcastle?

This is just free publicity for him. He wouldn't even be able to buy the club on his own dime in the way Kroenke did. It would be him and a consortium of god knows who.

I think that if I had £3billion, the last thing I’d want to do is buy Arsenal. What would you have to do to be appreciated?

And once you’d spent all the money you’d just be accused of buying success.

No I’d much rather spend it all on coke and hookers! :sneaky2:

we were always the crown jewel in his portfolio but we're on for a 100m loss this season

if a couple of his franchises in america arent doing well he may just be tempted to sell to cover that

not sure if elk is serious though. thats another question altogether. hes doing a lot of talking atm but maybe he's trying to utilise social media to generate momentum? hes young so is in tune with the social media generation. who knows.

Elon Musk is in tune w/ the social media generation: he posts absolute nonsense all the time and Twitter eats it up. Ek is not that, they just have a good product and all their competitors bar Apple and Youtube failed.

I still don’t understand how he could afford it. He has something like 3BN in Spotify shares. He would have to sell those to take control of Arsenal. Or would he get a loan out or something either way he not filthy rich to buy the club and pump money into it.

he says he has 'secured' the funds which suggests it'll be part of a consortium or via a loan.
