He's currently on the same number of PL goals as Jesus (4), coming back from a long ban and playing in a bottom half team. But apparently only the likes of Mbappe would be a suitable upgrade.

He also has less goals than Nketiah having played more minutes than Nketiah.
Where to now?

Toney plays for an inferior side, was coming back of a long time out, Eddie also scored a hat trick at home against one of the worst pl sides of all time.

Quite clear people who think this have no clue about football.

There are strikers in this very league who are vastly better than Jesus and Eddie.

2 that will probably be available this summer are toney and isak. We f***ked up last summer

We can't make the same mistake again. Heads should roll if it does

Excuses.
Adebayo has 9 for Luton in almost the same minutes played as Toney.
You used goals , then you didn't want to use goals.
Make up your mind.
If it's goals, then Eddie is scoring more this year than Toney - in less time.

Toney scored 20 last year, he is proven, Eddie couldn’t even get that in the championship.

Yup

Put Eddie in that Brentford side. Barely gets 3. If that

Put Toney in this Arsenal team. 10+ as back up and he'd actually put pressure on Jesus and havertz and eventually take that spot. Then we'll get 25 easy

They will want silly money and we won't pay. Therefore I will be very supprised if we do get him.

Not really his contract runs out in 2025, also gave us a good deal on Raya who’s out of contract this year.

I think they would accept something like 30-40 depending on if we throw in a player like Nketiah/Nelson for example.

From what I understand Rayas replacement isn’t doing so well, so maybe theirs even a deal to be made with Ramsdale here

We could give them Nketiah/Nelson and Ramsdale in a straight swap. ;)

7 penalties

Even with all his penalties
Premier league - all years
Toney 0.47 goals per 90
Nketiah 0.43 goals per 90

Toney has the edge in holding the ball up and aerial ability, not much in terms of his goal productivity though
Without pens in the PL, Nketiah has a better goal rate than Toney.

Toney as a straight replacement as the 3rd string striker might be worth it - although I wouldn't trust his personality at our club.

Eww. We can do far better than this, especially for the price. Much rather have Watkins than Toney, it's not even close. And I don't rate Watkins as high as others.
