And Kolasinac

Wilshere's back and fit and is like a new signing now that he's staying

Agreed. Don't see it happening though at this point.

All transfers closed after the comeback win yesterday.

Wenger believes this team has the talent and the mental toughness to win it all.

lol....as expected.

Wenger is not even looking at transfers now.

Just trying to cut down the wage bill by slashing players.

José Giménez and Stefan De Vrij have both entered the last year of their contracts. Might be able to pick one of them up for a good price? Giménez is not an undisputed starter for Atlético, but neither was Alderweireld despite putting in solid performances. De Vrij has built up a good reputation in Italy, but hasn't got the best fitness record.

Gimenez would make sense except we don't do smart buys anymore. Heck, we don't do obvious buys either, so I'm baffled how we did manage to sign Lacazette.

We need a CM foremost, but I'm sure Wenger is looking at Xhaka, Ramsey, Wilshere, Elneny, and Coquelin and wondering why we'd need to strengthen there. That's not even counting Cazorla and players who could play there like Chamberlain, Iwobi, and Welbeck.

Can see it now: ramsey will be expected to play every game until “the time is right” for cazorla to play again. Due to being overworked, Ramsey will pick up a long term injury right when cazorla is about to be fully fit. Cazorla is then rushed into the starting eleven and he picks up another long term injury. Wilshere is then called upon who runs into a wall in his first game after Cazorla goes down and he, too, is ruled out for the rest of the season. we’re then left with xhaka, coq, and elneny to finish the season as well as wenger reminding us all that all and sundry can play the position

We need two first team players and a couple of squad players assuming Alexis stays imo:

Cech
Ospina

?RCB?--Mustafi--Koscielny
Gabriel--Holding--Monreal

Bellerin/Ox------------------Kolasinac
Bellerin/Ox---------------------------?LWB?

?CM?--Xhaka
Ramsey--Elneny

Ozil
Cazorla/Wilshere

Lacazette--Alexis
Giroud--Perez

Squad Players (to be sold if not happy as squad players)
?GK?--Chambers--Coquelin--Walcott--Welbeck
