Yep Flamini>>Coq for Ramsey because he did nothing but defend.

Coq didn't offer enough in playmaking, fine when he had cazorla to do it he was a freak player, also he wasn't a massive physical presence as a stand alone dm, i liked him and didn't feel we needed to sell but we can get a lot better

Made no sense when he was our only real DM though, even if we had to switch to 4-3-3 to accommodate no Cazorla, then Coq still had his uses.

Wenger ruined him when he tried to make him B2B rather than the all out DM he was the first year.

Once Coq caught the Song disease he had to go

Whether it was by instruction or his own will, trying to develop his all round game was a massive detriment to him

Coulda been a good squad player but ended up being trash as a result

Its a new era, there is no such thing as a BWM anymore, its shuttler or DLP as far as DMs go, I can only think of Kondogbia or maybe the Bender brothers off the top of my head who could do a job like Flamini.

Yeah even Casemiro has evolved from simply a destroyer

Tbf I really disliked Coq ever since that stupid red card at White Hart Lane which cost us 3 points so was more than happy he f***ked off tho wished him well

I think Ramsey definitely has to start for us. I'm not 100% sure about Wilshire and Ozil. Wilshire has potential to be absolutely immense next season but it could go completely the other way.

I think Xhaka is someone who can benefit from some proper instructions from his manager in a more organised midfield, which we should get under Emery. If he can get his head down and work on his game he could really improve next season.

My thoughts exactly. In my opinion of we don't buy a dm its not the end of the world. CB is the most important position we need to focus on at the moment.

Rui Patricio rescinded his contract, let's dump Cech and Ospina and get him while we develop a younger gk.

Central mid is our most important need. If there is one top class player we sign this summer, I hope it’s in that position.
