Koln are gonna get relegated probably, which means Horn's transfer prices drop to 10m and that's a steal. Periera is a great RB and he's going to want to go to a bigger club, he'll cost at least 30m and De Vrij is at the end of his contract. Fabinho will be the most expensive of the bunch probably around 50m at the least but worth it. Nzonzi would be a cheaper option. Probably going to be a 100m+ rebuild, probably closer to 120m+. Honestly, that's me going off of the fact that there are rumors going around that the next manager is only going to get 50m to spend. Figure we are going to sell a few squad players. Bellerin is most rumored to leave, we can probably sell him for 30m at the most, maybe closer to 20m. Mustafi has been horrid, if we can offload him he could go for 20-25m at the best. Cech and Ospina arent both going to stay, one is going to leave and id imagine nobody will pay more than 10m for either. We need to offload a forward, maybe Welbeck or Laca. Welbeck could sell for 15-20m realistically and Laca for 35-40m. I think this wish list XI is most realistic, and since we have no european competition next year we will have alot less pull in transfers.

120m for a team that's barely better than what we have now.

That team is probably worse lol.

For the spot next to the new DM:

1. Ramsey (for easy games only)
2. New DM/CM (preferably)
3. Elneny
4. Wilshere (same reason as Ramsey)
5. Xhaka

In that order

(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli

Would a midfield pairing of Niles and Ndombele work? What do you guys reckon?

I find that Niles still needs more experience in midfield so I’d keep him as a rotation option at RB and only use him in the midfield during emergency situations. WRT ndombele: I’ve never watched him play but I’ve heard good things. if he can do the work of two man in midfield then I can’t see why a pairing of Niles and ndombele won’t work some time in future

Can people please stop putting mavro and avn in their starting XIs. Wenger isn’t our manager anymore, we don’t have to fill gaps with kids and cheapo signings anymore!

You’re in for shock when you realise how good we could have been in the last ten years had wenger done his job properly.

yeah he's been on that rotation now give him some decent minutes, more responsibility and see if he flourishes or what. he will. and I was looking at it like mkhi would be lazy and more on the right wing with fekir providing the first line of cover before it reaches those 2. the guy even runs back to hassle people in his own half regularly. then you got 1 wingback presumably waiting and 3 cb's just in case

as to mavro in first XI? just because he's not hyped doesn't mean he's less talented than say de ligt. personally I trust the guy ever since first seeing some highlights on yt (only half joking). yeah he'll make a couple mistakes, so what. he'll for sure be better than any cb this team had last 12 months, except maybe laurent. 100%. hold me accountable.
and sure, ideally you'd get an established monster koulibaly or (total fantasy) amazing young upamecano, especially cause kosc days are over or close to it. but, arse spending 60-70m Euros on a defender?

With Kos gone for 6 months our most important signing has to be an experienced center back. Say what you like about Evans, we should secure him immediately and then look at other options. Going into next season with Mustafi, Chambers and holding would be a disaster.

Ramsey and Wilshere to sign renewals plus a new goalkeeper and centre-back should be the priorities. Would love more quality in the midfield as well but I doubt we'll have much of a budget. Mislintat might need to unearth so bargains.
