Our entire midfield needs to be reworked.

ramsey and xhaka offer nothing defensive and just get over run.

Ozil is quality but he doesnt do shit with our game plan/style... if we even have a plan?

After that shower of shit of a showing, I couldn't imagine any decent footballer looking at us and thinking to himself "yea, I'd like to play for that club".

At just 19 bossed the midfield against Real Madrid and has been one of Napoli's stand-out performers last season. Whilst still slightly under the radar, extreme hype will inevitably follow shortly. Will become one of world's best holding midfielders within the next few years. Oozes class.

Wishlisted him before - unlike most of our midfielders he is excellent under pressure with his close control, high energy and passing range. Currently recovering from injury, could knock something off of his price.

Manolas, I'm sure you all have watched enough of him to see he's a rock solid, aggressive and very fast centre back who absolutely loves to defend and takes no shit from anyone. Contract runs out in 2019 and it's Roma's last chance to sell him before his price drops when he enters the last year of his contract.

I don't really see that as a big issue. We won't win the league on such short notice and the bigger Europa League games don't start before the next calendar year. If anything, it increases our chance of signing him for a good price. Ample time for him to recover.

With Diawara and Cyprien our midfield would ooze dynamism, energy and footballing ability - the pole opposite of what we have now. Carrasco would give us raw pace, skill and unpredictability. Manolas would add much-needed grit and defensive solidity to our back line.

Our summer would cost no more than £120m including the signings we've already made that is Lacazette and Kolasinac.

Your scenario violates one of Wenger's biggest transfer policies..

No more than 2-3 new players per season.

Your scenario would have us bring in 6.

I agree its whats needed but its not happening under Wenger, irrespective of price/cost.

I like Zenith's team.

The fact that we need an entirely new midfield is laughable. Shows you how poorly we're run.

Amy Lawrence (Guardian's Arsenal expert) wrote in her article that Mustafi and Xhaka are purchases directly from StatDNA rather than old methods of Wenger. No wonder we botched the transfer so bad. Xhaka was never good enough for us and his lack of pace and mobility is such a mismatch for the PL.

thats exactly what we need... 6 or 7 new players to get rid of that loser mentality that wenger has spread out through the squad.

but of course wenger is still here so.
