Arsenal fans will win

But with upcoming doom inevitable, all we can do is take it one game at a time
Or there's those that want us to win and those that want us to lose...

Pepe, Nkettia, and Lacca out.
Gnabry, Nunez and Jovic in.

Midfield... I'd actually take Pogba :hiding: and risk the injuries with Renato Sanchez.

All doable

I think that footballing wise, the shout for Pogba to replace Xhaka and bring about the desired equilibrium to the 3 man midfield in complementing Odegaard and Partey, is a damned good one.

However, this would only be on the basis of just recruiting the player himself minus a ridiculously exorbitant salary, the circus of marketing executives, 'super' agents and fawning flunkies. As such, a union could herald a spectacular rebirth for both parties, especially if he used the Norwegian pretty much like a muse to reignite the fire in his belly in at the very least desiring to match his work rate.

Pogba's wages and diva antics would be a nightmare

You'd be one strop away from Ozil all over again

It might work with Vieira as manager

Wish List:

Use the players we actually have. Persist with them when they make mistakes...take responsibility for the decision to have bought them in the first place.

Seeing as the window will be slammed shut well before the world cup starts, it's a good chance it'll happen before then

That's if we get one

Trying to be realistic, I can't see Nunez coming here with our recent form. Let's go for players we know are realistic and get it done as early as possible. Two like-for-like players in each position:

Fair enough Toney’s recent goal glut (5 goals in a week against Norwich and Burnley) do make him look better but he’s really not prolific imo, 5 of his 12 goals are penalties btw. Don’t think either him or Watkins are worth the 40m+ they’d cost.

Not sure why it has to be a PL proven #9 anyway, plenty out there at better value. Schick would be my target. I wouldn’t class Toney as proven either, plenty of strikers have had a decent season only to fade away.
