It was all those goals he scored when there was a sideways pass on. Pretty sure I jokingly said that would hapoen at the time!

He’s been pretty rubbish whenever’s he’s played past few months. Looked Sanogo-y when he’s come on as a sub recently

I'm not saying he was great lately, but Wenger began benching him, when he was still playing well. It's the same kind of treatment Laca got at season beginning, when he was subbed off after 70 minutes no matter how well he was playing or desperately we needed a goal.

Wenger destroys the confidence of the players who he doesn't favor. Ideally they shouldn't bother and just prove him wrong, but not everyone has this strength. Laca and Kola are getting the Lucas Perez treatment. I won't blame them, if they want to leave soon.

Makes you wonder whose decision it was to sign them.

Sometimes it isn’t a big conspiracy and players just don’t deserve there place. He’s apparently third choice in a 4atb behind AMN, and I’ve seen nothing from him that makes me believe otherwise

Now 3atb is dead in the water (in proper games, we’ll probs see it tomorrow) I don’t see a future for Kolasinac. Hasn’t exactly done anything to prove otherwise, he was given chances

Insider Notes: Pogba's Agent Trying to Incite Transfer Amid Mourinho Squabble

The tension between Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba is real, at least from one end of the equation. A source with firsthand knowledge says that Pogba’s representative, the super-agent Mino Raiola, has been calling other top European clubs in the past week to try and persuade them to go after Pogba in the summer transfer market. So far nobody is biting.

One of those top clubs pursued Pogba two summers ago and now feels like it dodged a bullet by not signing him and having Pogba completely change the club’s salary structure for its players. At the time, Pogba was signed for a world-record £89 million fee from Juventus and he reportedly makes £290,000 a week in wages. As for Mourinho, he’s telling people that he likes Pogba, has no interest in selling him and is just trying to motivate the French star to play better.

The plot thickened on Wednesday, when Pogba was left out of Man United's starting lineup to face Sevilla in the Champions League despite the expectation he would return to action after missing a weekend FA Cup win over Huddersfield Town.

Elsewhere around the soccer world:

ROMA MUST SELL PLAYERS TO MEET FFP REQUIREMENTS

Roma has been having issues meeting the requirements for Financial Fair Play, and a source with knowledge of the situation says those needs will likely force the club to have to sell more players this summer. I’m told that two players in significant demand are prospects Lorenzo Pellegrini, a midfielder who’s drawing interest from Real Madrid, and Turkish winger Cengiz Ünder.

The club recently considered selling Edin Dzeko in the January window for FFP reasons, but it decided not to when Roma’s fans demanded that he stay. But some sales will almost certainly have to take place this summer.

Roma have so many players that would walk straight into our first team.

Pogba, Xhaka swap also needed.

Offer 120 mil package deal for Cengiz, Alisson, Emerson and Manolas. That would solve our most of problems. Sign N'Zonzi too.

Alisson- Bellerin/Manolas/Kos/Emerson- N'Zonz/Ramsey- Mkhi/Özil/Cengiz- Auba

Cech- Niles/Mustafi/Holding/Monreal- Xhaka/Wilshere- Nelson/Iwobi/Welbeck- Laca

- we need two cbs this summer...one as a replacement for mustafi who we should sell while we can, and the other as a future replacement for Kos...Holding and Chambers have proven not to be the answer for the future
- we might need two CM/DMs depending on if we extend Ramsey...either way buy Fabinho
- get a Gk...Horn would be great business but get Alisson if we can
- Sign Guedes/Bailey but only after calling barca about dembele
- sell lacazette while we can...the likes of W Ham/Everton will overpay
- replace Welbeck with Sarr

that's what I would do

then get jardim to coach

Dembele for £60m?

I know both are unhappy but I think Barca would want push for £70-75m. I doubt we'd pay that.

Whilst Barcelona will be looking to minify their loss, I can't think of a club who'd currently be interested in making an offer in excess of £70m for Dembélé who - for all his talent - is having a horror season at Barcelona. With an eye on bringing in Griezmann, they could consider taking a £35m hit; if OD were to continue to struggle for a second season, Barca's financial loss would mount well beyond that £35m figure.

- City, Liverpool, United and PSG are stacked in his position
- Chelsea have Hazard, Willian, Pedro & co
- Barcelona will be looking to avoid selling to Real Madrid
- Bayern and Juventus would have to almost double their current transfer record

The only plausible scenario I can think of is if Chelsea were to sell Hazard to Real Madrid, they could pay over the odds for Ousmane, if interested.

Wenger is a huge fan of his compatriot, has experience playing together with PEA and Mislintat is another familiar face for Dembélé. We have paid more outrageous transfer fees for players relative to their talent IMO.

Ultimately how much Dembele will go for will fully depend on how many clubs will show concrete interest in his services. Until they it's just guesswork based on the limited amount of information we have.

Having said all that, going by his recent track record, I don't think Wenger still has what it takes to turn prodigies into world beaters. :crybaby:

New manager first and foremost.
