Yes but the Ox was one of the fabled core of the British group.

As was Gibbs and Wilshire but for them, it was clear they were not going to be a focus of the 1st team.

The Ox obviously made it known to the squad that he had no intention of staying, despite the money offered to him.

The would have hurt the team morale, too.
