According to the Athletic and fussballtransfers we are showing interest in him. He has been underwhelming this season registering just one goal and one assist in 22 games.
But he was better the two seasons before with decent end product (7G/13A in 2019/20 and 10G/17A in 2018/19) . He's also a german international player.
I'd like to have him on loan with an option to buy. Buying a player who's out of form in our current state isn't a good idea imho.

We had the chance to sign him the season we got Pepe.
He was on the list as one of the upcoming young attackers.
Top talent imo. Depends on the price though.

Was very highly rated before he moved to borussia dortumund but don't know hows he's done there

This guy is trash.
Can't even hold down a starting spot at Dortmund in the awful German league.
Most of the games he plays each season will be against Championship level teams.

decent player. like him alot. could have been a better option over Pepe when we had the chance.
Most German players always seem to flop hard in the PL though.

Being a better option than bringing in Pepe for 72m is not much of an achievement.
