@PG

Well, Barca did want to offload Iniesta before Pep stepped in. That's how they rumble.

We're playing a 3-4-3 now. The goal is 4-3-3. We don't have a top tier midfield to play a 4-3-3 atm but after we sign Puig, Aouar, and Partey, we will. :shocked:

So appaz Barca only want to loan him out and not sell him.

I wouldn't mind that tbh.

If we can't get Aouar, this is a no-brainer. Dare I say that Puig has a higher ceiling. Just a late bloomer.

Then, just buy Aouar already.

We've bought 8 defenders since Sanllehi arrived and zero creative midfielders.

If we go for Puig, he might be available for a cut-price deal but Barca will include a buy-back clause. It would be a glorified loan either way.

Bayern Munich 19/20

Odriozorla loan from Madrid
Perisic loan from Inter Milan
Coutinho loan from Barcelona

They won the treble including the Champions league, no shame in loaning players no matter what level your team is just gotta use it to your advantage like Bayern win what you can and upgrade with the money, Sane is a big upgrade on Perisic/countinho

None of them was starter and they were all backup squad players. Midfielders we own is xhaka, guendouzzi, torreira and el nanny. One has handed in transfer, another one is talking to clubs and has no future and el nenny is here cause no one wants him. So you guys want to delay the problem and buy a whole new midfield next season instead? We need two midfielders we actually own

I think we could actually sign him tbh Koeman doesn’t seem to rate him and his contract is up after the 2021 season.

Another rookie player for Arteta to ignore. No thanks.

Loan deals should be for backup roles only. Ceballos is a starter here and does not look any better than when he arrived.

Arsenal failed with a loan move for Barcelona's Spanish midfielder Riqui Puig, 21, before they secured Real Madrid and Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard, 22, until the end of the season. (Express)
