Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

He has gone on strike and refused to play both for Lyon and Marseille. 2 clubs where he fell out with players and forced a move. He is someone who is known in france to be talented, but disgusting attitude. he was on the phone in the dressing right after the sweden loss and when Blanc told him off, he said you can send me home if you want to. He also confronted the manager in the dressing room for subbing him when he said there were worse players than him( there realle were not in midfield or attack)

Short story right he has horrible attitude and I just know next person will say Wenger will get him right which is laughable as Wenger couldnt sort out players with bad attitude in the past. end of the day if a player lacks basic respect for others, he's not worth having around

Most thought his attitude problems were behind him - glowing reports from Newcastle, Diaby saying they're over the spat, etc. I have been wanting him here since this transfer window started - fast, tricky, scares defenders - just what we need.

If he's still being a prick though, my mind may get changed. And 18M is a bit much too.

Would love a player like that though (come on Ox! Mature quickly please).

he told his manager if he was unhappy with his performance he can send him home, he was on the phone right after they lost a game which upset his manager. he has gone on strike not once, but at 2 different clubs. i mean do you really want to gamble on such a loose cannon? his talent isnt worth the trouble he would cause

Too much money for him. Bad reputation. So NO i do not want him.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

I'm afraid I would gamble. Two seasons at Newcastle without issue tells me he may have grown up a bit. Recent problems (overblown as they were caught in front of reporters. That shit probably happens in some manner at all teams behind closed doors) at the national team are a concern, but he managed to piss off Nasri in the process - when is that bad? :sneaky2:

Looks like I'm in the minority on this, but so be it.

I can't see someone having the guts to do that to Wenger. As far as I know no one in his tenure here at Arsenal has done anything as stupid. All I hear is players gushing their respect for him as a father figure.

Either way how do we know for a fact that those events even took place? Were you there? I'm sure half of what was reported was exaggerated to make a good story, if anything even did happen that is.

But I would also take the gamble. He fits the type of player we need.

I get to link one of my favorite wish-list players in a rumor again :sneaky2:

Ben Arfa mentions Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool

Nothing stating we're in for him, just him talking about clubs that interest him. Would take him in a heartbeat, baggage be damned.

He acts like a whiney c*** sometimes, but a talented one none the less.

Just noticed his move to Nice was a permanent one, he left on a free.

What ever happened to Hatem Ben Arfa?

The only proven winner in red and white at this club? Arsene Wenger. Sack the board.

He can't even play for them last I saw, already played for Hull and Newcastle U21's since July which they counted as two teams.
