With Santi's career looking like it's almost over, this makes so much sense.
Highly unlikely we'll get him for €40 million though.

Good player, but Juve will ask for top dollar for him, can't see us paying it. Moreover he's at a club who are very competitive, not sure he'd want a move to us even if we were willing to pay it, right now it would be a downgrade for him.

will leave all the defensive work on Xhaka so no thanks even if he is a similar player to the greatest CM we've ever seen at this club
