Doubt it he’ll cost £40m +

His release clause is €70m

Edit: just seen in the article Sevilla would accept ~£55m for him

Right footed but, just like Luiz and Mari, he prefers to play as LCB.

Having mobile CBs like DC and WS4 would help us to play a higher line which would vastly improve our pressing from the front as the distances our forwards have to cover become much smaller. Luiz, Holding, Mari and Chambers are sluggish and Mustafi isn't very quick either.

Having said that, I'm not sure Diego Carlos has what it takes to efficiently play out from the back.

His stats this season up until March 2020 -

Conclusion

Diego Carlos has the conditions to be one of the best centre-backs around, but he needs to be consistent and make the most out of them. He combines strength and pace, two of the more important characteristics for a centre-back. He’s also calm and confident, and he seems unbeatable in some matches. But he needs to work harder in his positioning and evaluate the risks better when playing from the back.

Some of his performances this season have been fantastic, but it’s still his first season in La Liga and aged 27 he should be reaching the top of his game. He’s complete enough to adapt to the tactics of any club, and it’s not surprising that Europe’s elite are looking at him. If he can maintain his calmness and translate his aura of superiority to a top club he will become the leader of one of the best defences in the world.

He has been Sevilla's worst player in the QFs, SFs and is now well on his way of being their worst player in the final as well.

In his last 3 games he has given away 2 penalties and he's currently lucky to still be on the field.

Small sample size but I think we should steer clear off him. Very rash and cynical player.

Isn’t it 3 penalties? Wolves, United and Inter i thought he gave all 3 away?

Yes, it's 3. Forgot about the United one.
