Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Yup Chelsea getting deals done without wasting any time, Ziyech, Werner, Chilwell and now Sarr and Havertz looks to be on his way too, this for a team with more depth who also finished way above us last season and who already added Pulisic not long ago.

Meanwhile all we’ve managed it Willian for free, we still haven’t managed to confirm Auba resigning and Magalhaes, apparently because of some stupid photos.

How come Chelsea can confirm their deals? Also when are we actually going back to sell someone?

City have signed Torres and Ake.

United spent 60 odd million on Fernandez not to long ago and are looking at huge complicated deals.

Liverpool we’re miles ahead of anyone else so don’t need a lot of anything.

Wolves and Leicester are smallish clubs who ended up above us despite probably not expecting to, they probably don’t have much to spend either, hence the sale of Chilwell (Leicester have managed to sell someone as well at least).

Out of all those clubs were were in the biggest mess with the most unbalanced squad, the players we’re after are fairly average in value as well, these aren’t top notch huge signings.

Just because we’re not announcing signings at the speed you like doesn’t mean progress isn’t happening behind the scenes

You need to relax, not everyday stress about a football club in which how it operates is out of our hands

Just seems odd to me that’s all, if the Aubameyang deal is signed you’d think they’d be keen to confirm it, likewise Magalhaes as I said other clubs seem to be able to, what makes us so different?

Seems odd to wait an age before confirming something that’s already done.

Chelsea were already flush with cash. They didn't buy anyone for 2 windows, and the sale of Hazard and Luiz last summer more than covered the cost of Ziyech and Werner.

We are signing Gabriel but we need to sell before we can pay cash for anyone else. We should have been in the running for Sarr as it wouldn't have required cash besides a signing fee and agent bonus.

Liverpool won't spend much because they're like us—need to sell big before purchasing. Still think they'll get Thiago.

United will pay whatever it takes for Sancho.

City are going for the greatest transfer in football history.

Most importantly, none of them need top quality signings as much as we do.

Chelsea would be joint-favorites for the title if they had Allegri instead of Lampard. As long as Chelsea remain in top-4 positions, I don't think Lampard will be sacked during the season. But if they slip, or lag behind the winners, Lamps will be gone.

Even with a better manager their defence is still weak and it'll take time for their new players to gel. I think they're favourites for 3rd place still.
