I haven’t been watching Ligue one this year but based on what I saw in the CL he’ll be a good signing for Chelsea

soon to be 36 playing in the premier league for the first time. he hasn;t been tested consistently week in week out for nearly a decade. cant see it working out amazingly well

problem is chelsea cant afford for him to be just okay, their defence and defensive system is so bad they need a centre half who will be outstanding

chelsea make us look like arrigo sacchi's milan side defensively

Chelsea's back line is arguably worse than ours. Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, Christensen....pure jokes, all of them.
