Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

If that is true .............

Then why are Villa out doing us in the window?

They are making multiple signings, this one, apparently we wanted.

They also pipped us on Buendia so this trend is extremely concerning considering their standing in the league.

Big Stan penny pinching and Arteta and Edu just accept it because they are amateurs.

^yes it's Newcastle.

Given the wages and fee, I can only assume we were never in for this guy.

Yeah, that's what I mean.
If that is true, we never wanted him or enquired about him.
We could easily match that if we wanted to.

Could be, but not could be he wasn’t our number 1 target and that Newcastle snuck in whilst we were after Arthur.

We have held a long standing interest in him.

What are you on about? this is a claim about Aston Villa, what's NC got to do with it?

You responded to me, in which I mistakenly mentioned his medical was with Villa.

I'm glad this deal didn't happen. CF is much more important than adding depth in sideways passing.

If your insinuating that Bruno Guimareas is a piss poor midfielder offering little more than sideways passing, I'm inclined to think that maybe you're getting him confused with someone else.

It's more about the manager's preferred style than the individual player. Look at Partey and tell me he doesn't look like worse version of Granit Xhaka. It's not the same guy who was playing for Atletico for all those years. Bruno wouldn't be either.

There goes Lyons BS statement

"Nothings happening at all, Bruno is not for sale"

He did the same with Laca, is this president a fkin idiot or something? he looks stupid when he does this every time and then two days later his player is sold.

Newcastle has now signed him.

Lyon's stock is publicly traded, so they have to deny deals officially otherwise their stock could become unnecessarily volatile during the transfer window due to trading on the basis of rumours.
