Apparently we have had scouts watching Volland in the Bundesliga this season.

Reading his wikipedia, not really a striker, not really a winger...
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko
???/Jorginho
Odegaard/Smith Rowe----Rice/???
Saka/Jesus-------------------Martinelli/Trossard
???/Havertz

Another winger? Surely there are more pressing matters?

Ain't he slow also? i thought it was Werner, i always get those 2 mixed up, Werners the quick one and Volland is slow as shit.

A proper Everton style signing.

I think he would be the Laca replacement :/

Yeh I have heard he isn’t the quickest. Like Laca, his hold up play is good and has a knack for knowing where the goal is with his back to it

Volland upfront does not work he is a LW and drift in cause he has a good left foot. He is similar to Podolski. None existent up front. Get Jovic, Werner instead.

Problem is, Jovic and Werner will almost definitely be out of our price range. Volland won’t be

Auba for jovic would do. Laca and auba leaving so get used to it. Don't want volland tho. We should ask to look deeper and find players who fit artetas style. Don't think volland fits it. Werner def does... Granted that's if artetas style is to play a lil more like pep

if Auba and Laca leave, i want a proper number 9 and a proper support style winger for the left, no more of this 'have to play Auba out wide cos laca has to start' stuff.

Not a back to the goal hold it up for the inside forwards shit who rarely scores, but a proper Alan Shearer complete forward, not a lot different to that Spuds window licker, that kinda striker who bangs in a f**k load of goals with proper wingers providing.....or even a regular goal scoring poacher.

Erling Haaland, Moussa Dembele or Jovic fit that bill cos they are all tall, strong and can do a bit of everything, hold the ball up, score regularly with feet and head.

The best thing right now if the rumours are true would be to flog Laca and buy a proper support LW and let Auba fire us out of danger, then flog Auba in the summer and buy a young hungry goal scorer.

Of course we won't pay for a player like that.

We will buy this heap of shit to add to our long list of dead wood, and be stuck with him for 4 years.

Lacas got some nice hold up play, can score a few peaches from nowhere, great drive, but nowhere near consistent and him and Auba are not working together this year, but selling him and replacing wit this guy would be a huge downgrade.

Selling Auba and buying this guy is even worse, its almost like Stan and co are trolling us.

If anything, if we were to get this guy, then i'm praying its a cheap deal and hes just a back up player, but i'm not naive enough to believe that.
