Cheaper Neves, Bissouma alternative i take it.

He reminds me a bit if Frank Kessie of Milan but slower.

Not sure how good he is on the ball

As long as he doesn't come on big wages ... ala. Kola who came on a free. Otherwise if he's another dud we will struggle to shift him.

Better to give him a hefty signing bonus.

Agreed. That's why signing bonuses and agent fees are much more interesting than a heavily inflated salary.

It's especially worth considering if the player in question has age on his side and would normally command a considerable transfer fee.

Yes please. Right age, right position and a midfielder who actually knows how to defend for a change (based on the fact he can play CB in football manager games :hiding:)
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko

To be honest we’ve had a few Swiss players now, none have really been a success, I’d pass on this one, they don’t seem to have any outstanding talents.

Shaquiri is the best of the bunch.

To be fair you can't just write off a nation because of what we have seen in the past, prior to the latest Brazilian contingent we had a lot of average players from there too, Zakaria does look a decent player.

There’s no outstanding Swiss players, there are always outstanding Brazilians. Xhaka looked a decent player according to some too.

Silvinho, Edu, Gilberto we’re all really good, we haven’t had one decent Swiss player, everyone has been a liability.

This.

Asano, Miyaichi, and Inamoto didn't make it so we shouldn't have signed Tomiyasu? What a shallow take.

Yeah that's a pretty stupid take, every individual athlete no matter where they're from should be viewed only by their particular merit.

Look at Son or Salah, most people especially in Europe make assumptions that Asian or Middle Eastern players aren't great but these two are two of the best in the Prem.

Zidane, one of the best to lace up boots was Algerian / French.
