Philippe Coutinho

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Another has-been who will want a massive deal and in all likelihood fail to deliver - rather keep Willock or sign anyone of a dozen youngsters with potential - this would be just another massive risk, have we really fallen that far?

Not enjoying the reports of us swapping Auba or Laca for Coutinho. I do not see the benefits

Shades of the Sanchez - Mhikh swap. Lost a top forward in exchange for a more expensive, unwanted midfielder.

Arteta likes to play an attacking player with a good passing range in that second central midfield slot - as he did with Ceballos last season.

He's a very adaptable player with two good feet who is not afraid to shoot from distance, and is a very good dead ball specialist.

I'd welcome him.

He's a top quality player! Unfortunately he would be another one that we turn in to an average player on big wages.
We could make Messi look average
Invincibility lies in the defence; the possibility of victory in the attack.

100% agree and a swap with auba shows how foolish we have become.
At least Auba stays fit

He spent almost all of last season out injured because he done his knee. Has he played since?

I'd maybe accept a loan providing we don't have to buy him at the end of it and they pay some of his wages.
