Philippe Coutinho

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Well I meant if the fees were negligible tbh, I’m expecting at this point if they want him out on loan then they’re pretty desp.

Obviously if it costs a fair whack then my comments don’t hold

In hindsight Coutinho would've been a great transfer lol. I think he would've regained his form under Arteta.

Going complete Wenger here, I'd rather play ESR.

Prem is a write-off either way.

What better opportunity to field the likes of ESR, Nelson, Balogun, etc.?

Wouldn't want another overpaid player to enjoy his retirement at Arsenal.

I agree but only because backing Arteta's picks is throwing good money after bad. He should be getting the best out of what he has, right up until he gets sacked, which cannot be too far away at this point

Why buy yet another massively overpaid player on the way down ... he'll be 29 in the summer so a four year deal will put him at 33 ... how's that type of deal working out for us so far? ....

Barca want to offload before clause is triggered

Arsenal could be given a boost in their bid to sign Philippe Coutinho due to a clause in his transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona.

According to the Express, Coutinho is 10 games away from triggering a clause that would see Barca pay another £20 million ($28m) to Liverpool, after reaching 100 appearances.

Barca are keen to avoid this and it is widely reported Coutinho will be sold this summer.

With odegaard here I think the AM question is settled. I'm pretty sure the loan will be extended for another season.

Coutinho's best asset is his directness, and he wouldn't be able to play that way here. I'd like to see him back at Inter next season .

Premier League clubs will have to wait until July before approaching Barcelona over a deal for Brazil forward Philippe Coutinho, 28. Arsenal and Everton are thought to be interested. (Sky Sports)
