Coutinho on loan?

Postby Pat Rice in Short Shorts » Fri Jul 17, 2020 9:59 pm

Some Barca sites are saying Kia has worked a loan to buy deal for him.

Not a bad move if it were to be. He is 28, can play a mean ten and is reported to love London. We shall see. These rumors have been about before.
He/His/Non-Menstruater/Postmenopausal/non-vaginal male. Yup all man!

Disgusting move and complete waste of money. He has had 1 great season in his career and they wasted crazy money on him. No club want to buy him as he is on crazy money. Kia is way too influential at Arsenal and looking after his client. We should really stay away. We don’t have money and no defence or great central midfield. We need to be wise and he is the last thing we need

How does this take us forward? loaning a player who has failed to impress at his last three big clubs? Even if he does very well next season he will then be looking for a huge payday, that means transfer fees going to Barca as we use our option to buy on yet another player running down their career ... how is this big club thinking?

Bayern had option to buy. 100% we will have mandatory to buy. As I said unlike Bayern or any club. His agent has a lot of power in our club

Needless panic mongering. You're acting like Kia is some kind of Putin figure playing Arsenal like his personal puppet state.

Arteta wanted David Luiz to extend, remember? Bad as he is, he is somehow still better than Mustafi.

Pablo Mari looks like a bargain so far. Soares is a PL-experienced RB we picked up for £0 after the disastrous Lichsteiner deal.

Kia is very shady and raul is very shady, look at his neymar deal. 2 crocks coming together means what? 1=1=2

Coutinho is better than what we have and proven in the Premier League. Or do you think Reiss Nelson or Pepe are better players than him?

Jokers.

Agreed

My only worry is it prevents us from spending big on a CB and a DM

Signing Coutinho on loan will always be better than getting Willian on high wages.

Don't want. I'd rather we invest in a more creative midfielder.
