It's been a while since we had a player where it was our job to correct opposition fans on the spelling of the player's name.

Wilshere and szczesny have been sorely missed in that department.

Whilst still young and inexperienced, this guy seems to have a great combination between physicality, mobility and overall technical ability.

Is this another youth I take it?

Jesus we're going full Ajax aren't we.

Always win tomorrow but tomorrow never comes.

Full on selling club.

I have to admit, in some ways I don't mind the strategy as long as they buy pearls and not just 5m cheap scrubs that need the talent trained into them.

Buy a solid youth with talent to spare and let him blossom into the next Neymar or Mbappe.

To do that though you have to buy them at around £20m, clubs won't let them go otherwise but then you can sell them for £50m + so that's where it becomes worth it.

Nothing beats our fans getting pissed over good young talent acquisition, without the thick fucks realising not doing this has led us into this position in the first place

Bring it on, would absolutely love another project youth

I feel like we get project youths every summer though? No? Just seems like this has always been a complaint on here, that we always just buy kids.

We have/had quite an old core. Cech, Nacho, Kos, Sokratis, Ozil, Micki, Laca, Auba - all above or near 30

Players primes arent 27-30 anymore, it’s 23-26

Seemed like when I joined this forum we had too young of a team, but that was 10 years ago. So yea we are a bit long in the tooth.

The key is to always buy youth while still getting the right players to fill in immediately. But of course most youth players don't live up to their potential or hype and really never make it to the big stage or at least don't stay consistent enough to stay there.

We should sign good youth players imo

We need to tie Jenkinson to a big deal
