Ryan Fraser

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

So you'd rather blow the majority of our budget on a winger who may be a success (from a weaker league) and may find adapting to the premier league a hard job.

Or spend less than half of that getting a decent player whose better than our current wide player and has goals and assists for a poorer team. And he does have a good dribble on him and skills to beat a man at pace, he's exactly the type of player we should be looking at among other positions.

Ryan Fraser doesn’t have a good dribble on him. He dribbles once every other game.

He’s a pure counter attack player in a system that doesn’t highlight his biggest weakness - time on the ball

And what will any winger at a big club have? Time on the ball and restricted space given most sides will have a deep block

Would be a horrendous signing at any price

It would be such an Emery signing then.

Hopefully EVER BANEGA is not the next on the list.

Well I disagree.

I think someone with 8 goals and 15 assists in the Prem for a mid table team is nothing to be sniffed at. We have limited transfer budget and Emery has to be shrewd and realistic with his targets.

We're not about to drop 50m on a Zaha or Pepe so let's not be stupid. He also created 28 big chances which is more than any other player in the league and with Auba and Laca's clinical finishing that 'could' be lethal.

Tbf hes theo Walcott with better ball control strength and ball striking ability but probably a touch less pace. More acceleration though over the first t meters I recon.

Only alternative to this guy is Malcom, who Barca will be selling. Remains to be seen if Malcom will be a top talent, but at Barca he had Brazilian teammates that helped him adjust. We don't even have any Portuguese speaking players on the team.

Ismaila Sarr is unproven as well, and Nicolas Pepe is likely out of our price range.

Banega would straight away be our 2nd best midfielder if we signed him, even at this age. That's how poverty how midfield is. Not that we should sign him. We shouldn't.

As for Fraser, why would anyone want a beefier, technically inferior Scottish Denis Suarez at Arsenal?

Could seem is part of the squad....let Iwobi and Miki go and have Fraser/Zaha with Nelson and another youngster like Saka challening for LW....for RW bring in Ziyech and use an academy guy as his back up or buy a squad type player.

Well thats my opinion on the Winger issue at our club.

this guy is a true winger, do we really need a true winger when we use wing backs and have no proper prime full backs? surely we need inside forwards 1 attacking (Auba) and 1 playmaking like that Ajax guy?

Otherwise what formation are we going to play, starting a right winger will conflict with bellerin, so this guy would be good for a bench role when Emery changes things up but not really as our RW every week.

Emery always plays inverted players and Auba has the left covered, unless we are going flat 442, which is very unlikley.

I'll take anybody who can beat Ozil and Mhikytaryan's abysmal numbers and will accept 100k pw. This bloke fits the bill.
