Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to reignite the club's pursuit of Getafe defender Djene Dakonam, according to AS.

The Spanish coach is a keen admirer of the 27-year-old centre-back and tried to bring him to the Emirates Stadium last summer.

Emery was present at the Mestalla to watch Valencia's 0-0 draw with Getafe on Sunday and was impressed by Djene once again, as he starts to line up targets for the next transfer window.
