Can't keep affording expensive mistakes, imagine the season ticket prices in a couple of years!

It’s a shame they never let Emery have the players he wanted, not saying he’d still be manager here but Nkunku in stead of Suarez/Ceballos on loan

Zaha > Pepe
Fabinho > Torreria

Had they allowed him to sign the actual players he wanted our squad/funds would look much better as things stand

You’re right, the guy had little say in transfers, if he had we would have some quality players.

Two great players, assuming those reports are true.

By the same metric, Emery also wanted Maguire, Umtiti, El Shaarawy, Gbamin and Nzonzi...

Watching Maguire with the ball at his feet is gold standard comedy.

Umtiti's knee was already shot when Emery 'wanted' Arsenal to sign him. Barcelona tried to sell Umtiti for 6 consecutive transfer windows, but failed. Last week, his contract got terminated by mutual consent.

SES is the definition of average: the Italian Alex Iwobi.

Nzonzi went to Roma instead. He turned out to be an expensive flop. He was so poor Roma shipped him out for a pittance of what they paid for him the year before.

Since signing for Everton 3 years ago, Gbamin made just 6 Premier League appearances. £25m down the drain.
