Gotta replace the midfield at some point though.
The only CM good enough to be a starter on a title winning team is Partey. Guendouzi could become good enough if he changes his attitude and becomes less of a t**t (and learns the motor skill that is balance).
Xhaka and Ceballos aren't athletic enough. Torreira's head probably ain't in it here. Elneny has heart, and he's good depth to have around, nothing more. The less said about AMN and Willock, the better.

And why would Lyon sell him in January? His contract runs till the summer of 2023.

Big financial problems, tv deal collapsed for the french league and all clubs (except for PSG) will be affected hugely from it.
