I don't watch Bundesliga but here's the information I've found so far:

-6'1" 180lbs, 22 yo
-Versatile. Primary position DM, can play CB and RB.
-Helped keep Mainz up
-Rated at 30m+ euros by Mainz

Signed him for Villa on Fifa 2015. Decent but error prone. Then kicked up a fuss because he was home sick before my f***ing chairman sold him to Man City!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avoid.

Sounds like a good versatile player, and a actual defensive player, not a playmaker like Torreira.

He first came to my attention prior to the season before last, when talk about our interest in Xhaka was first mentioned and as such had me watching bundesliga highlights with more attention.

It was not so much that he struck me as an outstanding talent that illuminated the pitch, but rather it was the simplistic, unspectacular nature of his game coupled with a great work ethic and genuine inclination to defend that caught my eye. Put simply, he reminded me of Gilberto Silva.

However, bearing in mind that the desperation to see a proper defensive midfielder injected into the team had me previously coveting the likes of Geoffrey Kondogbia, I may have similarly overlooked some of his flaws and weaknesses.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will reignite his interest in Mainz centre-back Gbamin after a failed bid for the 23-year-old last summer, despite the Bundesliga club demanding £40m - £5m under Emery's entire summer transfer budget. (Sunday Express)
