NEW ENGLISH SUITOR FOR PICCINI

The season that Sporting are holding, with greater visibility in the Champions League and Europa League, is generating the lust of several leoninos players. One of them is Cristiano Piccini, right-back hired in the summer to Betis for three million euros and whose evolution in the sportinguista team is catching the attention of several European clubs, some prestigious. After the Italian press associated Juventus as one of the well-known defense clubs, West Ham emerged as being also attentive to Piccini's football. More recently it is the turn of Arsenal to be associated as one of the clubs that also have the Italian under eye as a good solution to strengthen the squad next season which, it will be remembered, will not have Arsène Wenger as head coach.

At just 25 years old, Piccini is seen as an excellent alternative to Spanish Hector Bellerín, and the British press says the Gunners have already prepared a proposal worth around 20 million euros to try to convince SAD to free the defense.

Piccini, remember, has a contract with Sporting until 2022 and a termination clause of 45 million euros. So the 20 million that Arsenal seems to be willing to spend on their hiring may not be enough for SAD to sell the player.
