Andres Iniesta

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Andres Iniesta

Postby Ach » Tue Apr 24, 2018 6:02 pm

Both Manchester City and Arsenal are looking to convince Andres Iniesta to move to the Premier League rather than transfer to a Chinese club, AS reports.

Iniesta will leave Barcelona this summer after winning 31 trophies at the club, and Pep Guardiola is eager to bring him to City having worked together at Camp Nou. Similarly, the 33-year-old could link up with former boss Luis Enrique if the Spaniard is appointed at Arsenal.

Ligue 1 giants PSG are also in the race to sign Iniesta, who has spent his entire playing career at Barcelona up until now.

Cant see him moving to another club in a major league and being shown up.

He will do what Xavi did and go out of Europe where he wont be in the limelight

He's a superhero in Spain

He's got no interest in coming here. He'd be a hit in the US with Spanish speaking fans

A manager who has never managed and can't speak English.

Should work out great.

Why not get David Beckham?

Yeah shame on him, only been in the Barca and Spanish starting line up for years. They couldn't find him out when he was winning multiple league titles and champions league. They couldn't find him out when he won the Euros and they certainly couldn't find him out when he scored the world cup winning goal. I'm pretty sure that now since he's like 33, injury prone, declining and losing his legs he'll get found out.
