wasnt exactly a hidden gem, a few of us wanted him before the summer even began

i beleive me and gooney wanted him in january

Not a single mention from gooney in January about torreira
Only the usual shit about how we would lose 4-1 to Chelsea
How he wanted us to concede 4 to Chelsea
And how we would never get aubamayang

November 2017 though

Fair play to him
He was right on that one
I also believe about goretzka as well
After hearing we were linked with him on talk sports trans Europe express in June 2017
I kept an eye on him at the confederation cup
He was just the type of squash buckling player we needed
He reminded me of Stewart Robson
It's easy to forget in these days where Robson is known as a sour( rather bitter) pundit
But he was a fantastic player and bar injury I believe would have been a fantastic cog in future graham sides
In all probability Wenger ummed and arghed and the ship sailed

Arsenal have singled out Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz to replace Mesut Ozil, according to Calciomercato.

Unai Emery had targetted the playmaker during the January transfer window.

Havertz has scored 11 goals this season but is understood to be keen on continuing his footballing education elsewhere.

Any chance we had of getting him has all but disappeared with Sven now gone.

We need to sign him for that name alone.

So we get rid of ozil and look for james Rodriguez or this guy......just shows how the club has no actual plan. Emery would not like this guy

As much talent as this kids had, hes another one of those number 10 advanced playmakers that Emery seems to have no clue how to use and that all big clubs do not seem to use anymore, so I wouldn't want us to sign him, plus he would cost about 70-80m.

I think Bayern would be the best place for this kid because they are one of the few big clubs that use a number 10 quite a lot and they seem short in that position also, using Goretzka there etc who is more of a deeper player (from what i know anyway).

Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are among Europe's top clubs interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen's Germany forward Kai Havertz, 20, who is valued at £91m. (Sport1 - in German)

was the 3rd leading goal scorer (17 goals) in the Bundesliga last season at the age of 19 and he is a MF not a striker. That is impressive.

But Who knows though ? Even , Firmino was a Midfielder converted striker. Havertz might have the qualities required to pull it off

I would be very surprised if he doesn't join Bayern after this season.

Not convinced our current financial capacity is strong enough to meet the transfer fee he'd command.
